Where did we come from? Who are we? The short answer, we are natives of Tampa, Florida and have been involved in the Swinging Community for over 20 years. The early years as a member of a local Off-Premise club called THE SWINGING DOOR. In 1990 we started a group called THE FULL MOON CLUB. Initially the group was small. We had private parties in homes or dances at hotels.
In June of 1991 we opened an Off-Premise location opened only on Saturday Nights in Brandon, Florida just South East of Tampa. We closed that location in August of 1992.
Our next location was in Land O'Lakes Florida, just North of Tampa. This was a licensed bottle club and was open Friday and Saturday nights. The grand opening was December 1992. We closed that location in June of 1994.
We then changed our name to the LIFESTYLE EXPLORERS and began occasional private parties in private homes and sometimes held hotel dances. This continued until July 1996 when we started holding parties in a private home. In July of 1997 the lease ran out and we stopped having parties.
When we ran the FULL MOON CLUB we found many people were searching for something different. We were one of the possibilities. Soon we were counseling and guiding people into alternative lifestyles, some swinging some related. It was that experience that convinced us to start the LIFESTYLE EXPLORERS.
Several of our activities were seminars, guiding beginners and experienced alike. We brought people together with similar fantasies and let them play. It was a wonderful experience. We did not require anything of anyone. Each person was allowed to progress at their own pace, no matter how long it took. Some took years and that was OK.
Now we want to help as many people explore alternative ideas. We are doing this with our Survey Listing, contact listing and support of Private Socials. These socials are held in a private home with privacy and secuity assured.
